Everything is relative, 40mg of diazepam for some is a huge dose. I was on 450mg per day but can’t chastise this lady because she was “only” taking 40mg. The effects of dependency is the same whether on 450 or 40 mg.

It's not a contest. Everyday for years does add up to a very bad dependence. She may not be an addict but she is a drug dependent. 40 is a nice dose. I use to abuse them and I wa prescribed. I used totake up to 100mg I felt nothing cause I was a drug addict and dependent. Prescribed benzos and other psyche meds since inwas only 12.
