Feeling of fear during labor is totally normal and relevant ..birth is not an easy-peasy situation..you can lose the baby and even die. Another thing that women experience a lot of pain through life...and many women have very painful periods. Mine is ridiculous painful and bloody..very similar to birth cramps.

Mine are anyway. I have to take "I just got out of surgery" level meds and I'm still dying for a week every month. If I get off on my med cycle I won't be able to do anything for the rest of the day until I can take the pain meds during a moment of peace. Because most pain meds don't work if you take them when you are already in bad pain.

Two separate parts of the test that's why the lines are in seperate sections. The larger part is the result and then the other part is to show that the test has collected the HCG hormones. If the HCG is low then the test will come back negative but if HCG levels are higher than it comes back positive I think.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I saw another woman who found out at 6/7 months pregnant, and with hindsight she had felt the baby kicking, but at the time, not thinking pregnancy was an option, she'd just thought it was bowl movements

Yep same thing happened to me 19.5yrs ago! My irregular period continued, unable to loose weight, in the medical field, cramping & spotting started 2 days before he was born to full blown abdominal cramps. Sat in ER for 3-4hrs before seen hahaha. My son was born 4hrs later, perfectly healthy; starting his 2nd year of college in a few weeks.

She's not the only nurse who didn't know she was pregnant. There was a couple I knew. She was a nurse and he was a medical social worker. They couldn't understand why she was sick all the time. I suggested that she might be pregnant, and the light went on. Lo and behold, she was indeed pregnant, about 8 weeks along. :)

It was a mix. She might have eaten a little junk food but most of her diet were a reaction to her pregnancy belly. Thankfully everyone was healthy and fine but it could have been bad if she did more to really get rid of her belly.
