I worked at Target for almost 3 years and processed returns and exchanges. There were so many crazy returns I had to process and one of the ones that still grinds my gears to this day was an empty pizza box. The customer didn’t like the pizza and pointed at the “100 percent guaranteed customer satisfaction“ and my manager told me I had to process the return and I told the customer “well to me… it looks like you were 100 percent satisfied with the pizza because it’s 100 percent gone.“ 🙄

Pfft, let me tell you that ain't nothing compared to Costco returns, they return soiled mattresses from years ago, exercise equipment from failed NYE resolutions around spring, big screen TVs bought just for the big game: NBA Finals, World Series, World Cup, Super bowl, and in Dec people return the folding tables and extra folding chairs from Thanksgiving, in January is people returning their Christmas gifts and used Christmas trees that is real, and we had to ban certain members from all the Costco's, because they had a pattern of buying lots of diamond jewelry to special events, and return for a full refund. Too many people feel entitled to live like they are rich and think Costco is a damn free AF Rent-A-Center. It's really messed up because people pay membership to buy new items and sometimes they are buying used items. Unless it is damaged or lost the package barcode then it goes back to the floor. The customers are total pigs!

The employees don't want to lose their job over some trival thing that a manager will side with a member 100% of the time. I had just bought those expensive ink cartridge for the printer and the Windows OS updated overnight, the new OS doesn't talk to the printer anymore, no new drivers from the printer website so Microsoft bricked my still working printer. I had to buy a whole new printer which had different numbers for ink. So I didn't have the receipt for the ink & wanted a refund. They gave me a refund at Costco without a receipt and box. Both ink cartridge was still heavy & new.

What Bart does with the box of meal preps, is omg. My birthday is one week before father's day, so my brother has been sending a gift box of meats to the house as a family gift. One year it was a box from Omaha Steaks, and last year it was a box from Perdue Farms. As soon as I know they put the box on the porch I bring it in, open it up, check through it, take a pic to send to my brother with a text msg. saying "thank you", then put everything into the freezer since the dry ice has started to melt while it was in transit.

Not sure if you can, but maybe a fridge or a good cooler can be left outside for the delivery person to drop it off? Depending on the neighborhood, not sure if you'd need to make a copy of the mailbox lock or something.

Can't Bart just put a chest freezer at the front door and so at least the items aren't in the danger zone? In Las Vegas that danger zone isn't 4 hours it's like maybe 1 hour at best in the high heat. Or it doesn't have to be a freezer but a little refrigerator like what college kids have, that will do the trick.
