I was not physically abused but made feel unwanted, unloved and was only good to provide an income. I stuck it out too long, but for my kids . When I finally told him to leave, I felt so free and relieved 16 years later.I’ve been criticized for staying that long , but we women have our reasons . Everything in God’s time 🙏🏻

This film brought back memories of a life with a man who could be very cold, leave you alone when you are ill, punch you in the stomach when you tell him your pregnant and then loose the baby. he makes you sleep in the same bed with his other woman and tells you he will choose which one he will stay with, throws his dinner at you and throws you around the room. i could go on. he died of cancer in 2014. i got out years ago. i still find it hard to let my heart trust again, i am in love with a man but i keep hurting him( not physical ) but emotional. i want to trust and i would love to feel his arms around me and tell me i am safe. i have healing for this but i need more and cannot get it at the moment.
