While I agree with you that it would be a good idea to sue him, she was not a minor at the time the pastor coerced her into having sex with him. She also does not have any admissible evidence to establish a case of rape. So it will be an effort in futility to go to court. What she needs at this time is a good therapist and not the father trauma of standing on a witness stand and reliving her traumatic experience before her family, friends and the perpetrator.
