Yet again, another lonely person meets someone online, never actually speaks to them, falls in love with them and then that person asks for money? the minute they can't call you or meet with you in person is the time to say goodbye. That's a huge red flag, if you can't meet the person face to face, then kindly say goodbye...and don't send that person one red cent. Ever.

I guess she was happy to pay $70k for a huge $600k home after living a in a trailer all of these years. But realistically, who does that without even meeting the other person? Why would you want to live with someone who can control you? And her son is an idiot, free-loader. He was right there for the ride.

Anyone who can afford to put up $600,000 towards for a house doesn't need $70,000 for someone else. That should have been a major red flag. That and the fact, she'd never met him in person. Was she planning on marrying him and sharing a bed with him without meeting him first? Who the hell does that?

I watch a KZbin channel dedicated to helping romance scam victims, and you be surprised how many victims will up in plan on weddings, including buying dresses to marry someone they had never met. Some have spent money to buy a house. Some of these people do the most ridiculous things for a person they had never met. I have heard of victims younger than this woman quitting their jobs, selling their homes and all their belongings, including their cars and then plain on hopping on a plane to meet their scammer in another country only to find out that the scammer did not buy the plane ticket as promised. Instead of the victim buying their own plane ticket, they relied on the scammer and when they get to the airport, there is no ticket waiting for them. A different victim had taken money from the joint account she shared with her estranged husband, packed her belongings and drove to a different state to go to the scammer’s house while he was supposedly in the hospital. The scammer told her that the key was under the doormat. When she gets there, there is no key. She spoke to some of the neighbors, and she was told that the person she was looking for does not live there. The house had been owned by an elderly couple who recently moved as they were selling their house. They had been there for many years. She also found out that there was no person by the name the scammer had given at any of the hospitals in the area. She ended up staying at a hotel. When she got back home, her estranged husband had changed all the locks. She ended up staying with one of her sisters She did not necessarily get along with. Her husband had been verbally and physically abusive towards her. They were planning on divorcing even before she met the scammer, but because she had taken money from their joint account to send to the scammer, when he filed for divorce, she got nothing. No alimony nothing because she had stolen money from their account and gave it to the scammer. She had already been verbally abused while she was married, but after her situation with her scammer, that added more fuel to the verbal abuse from her ex-husband. In her story, she says her husband destroyed her and the scammer finished her off

There has to be some degree of impairment for these elderly women to believe any man wants them, it is sad and unfair but no younger man and very few older men are looking for a nearly 80 year old partner. I don't agree with ageism but it is so real and these women falling for this really cannot be in their right minds.
@christinecatt8039 Жыл бұрын
Men are visual beings.....beauty turns them on no matter what age. Older women are not thinking clearly...hoping that these rich, younger men are attracted to them sexually.. They need to take a long look in the mirror. 😢
