Geez, this is… definitely a lot to unpack. I definitely agree though that this is probably the most disturbing things that’s ever come out of the To Catch a VRChat Predator series. The other predators were creepy at most, but this guy has shown himself to be a complete sociopath and psychopath. As for the woman, on one hand she clearly shouldn’t be the one looking after those children mentioned in the video. If she’s letting some random person on the Internet that she’s only known for a few months tell her how to raise her kids, it makes me worry for her children and how they’re living. Part of me is hoping that they’ll eventually be taken care of by a different family and get to live in a better home. On the other hand, this woman has definitely been heavily manipulated by this guy for a while. I really think that as a grown adult, she’s been handling this situation horribly, but I’m hoping that the information UrghBla gave to her in this video opened her eyes to who this guy really was, and that she’ll take reasonable action against him. For anyone confused: if you are a grown ass adult, it’s weird to be chatty with high school kids who are not related to you or a very close friend. I look back at every 20 something who treated my friends and I as peers as creepy. You shouldn’t have enough in common with minors or even 18/19 year olds, to be actual friends. If you actually have adult conversations you don’t meet minors lying about their age. It’s never happened to me because by the time I was in college I noticed that friend’s teenage siblings, who were not much younger, seemed like they were way below the maturity point of my friends and me. That’s because between 18 and some time in your early 20s, you mature rapidly each year so a 20 year old talks to a 16 year old and thinks ‘god was I really this immature?’ If you aren’t picking up on that, and you are an adult, then you need to do some growing up and not worry about dating anyone.
