That's more how the child died if she had her seatbelt on she could've survived but injuries or broken bones but alive & possibly can either walk & talk it's one thing that the adults wouldn't wear a seatbelt but always secure that any child at any age should be wearing a seatbelt & also if the drugs & alcohol or the use of the phone weren't the cause then what caused the crash?

My car has a seatbelt safety cut off which if one passenger unbuckle the belt the car will start to slow down. I actually found this function disabled when this car was sold in the US vs Germany. So when I activate the function I got a few strange moment where dad took the belt off to remove clothing on driving trip and this car just cut off the throttle entirely.

Simple. I was a group home parent and my girls refused to wear their seatbelts. I refused to move the car. They later stole the car an got into a wreck that severely disfigured one of the girls and ended her modeling career. After a while you have to understand that kids will do whatever they want and you just have to stay tough.

Maybe if they were wearing seatbelts there would’ve been a different outcome this unintentional accident is half of those three people’s responsibility for not wearing a seatbelt. It’s like going to a gun range and being the only three people not following the rules or being safe and then when they get hurt because of their own negligence it’s all of a sudden somebody else’s fault. The only one that seem to be following all the laws was the lady that survived.

@@joewoodchuck3824 Yeah, I'm sure all of those huge strips of rubber up and down every interstate come from something besides tires. @joewoodchuck3824
@joewoodchuck3824 5 жыл бұрын
@@righttorecord3538 The chunks of rubber are nearly universally from retread big rig truck tires, not from cars. I can't speak of actual statistics, but I do know that cars are enormously more reliable than they once we're and unlike the past I rarely see anyone broke down by the roadside anymore. I've come across zero evidence that crash statistics are any different in states with vehicle inspections compared to states without them. I think you aren't being realistic concerning crash statistics and that blaming vehicles instead of drivers for them is based on some sort of gripe that you must be harboring. Today's drivers are incompetent and almost seem to enjoy breaking every traffic rule in the book just to see what they can get away with. Enforcement is weak and everyone seems to think that killing hundreds of people every year is some sick and ignorant notion of "normal", not to mention a great many more injuries with some being permanent. Why this is acceptable to society and government is a complete mystery to me. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who notices and cares. The general public is in denial. I further think of you as being among them. It's a sad state of affairs all around.

Daniel Webb As crazy as it may sound, the judge handed a sentence as close to the sentencing guidelines as possible considering the circumstances surrounding this case. It’s was no drugs, alcohol or cell phone. Just negligent wreckless driving.

speeding is not a big enough deal in the USA. you can drive over the speed limit by a state trooper and no one cares. take your seat belt off or answer a phone call on a exit ramp and they will be on your with SWAT like they are attacking a meth lab. law enforcement caused part of this is a round about way...letting go for too long.

I feel terribly for the family, but this was an accident. Speeding that leads to an accident should not be a criminal offense. Yea, a speeding ticket, but this was an unintended accident. No drugs or alcohol. Driving is a dangerous activity and people get hurt or killed. The family’s grief should not be the force to have this woman sentenced. Everyone speeds. This instance caused the death of people ( that weren’t wearing their seatbelts..... the real crime in my opinion).
@victorialee3953

No SH, everybody does NOT speed. Some of us know that the speed limit is the safest recommended speed on that road. And we care enough about our fellow humans to know that nothing is more important than their safety.

You can’t assume that the victims would have survived had they been wearing seatbelts. This accident was horrific and it FAR exceeds the 5 miles over the speed limit which most of us have done. Don’t rope the rest of us into this woman’s gross and wanton negligence. She is and one day again will be, an absolute menace on the road.
@Godplayzdice
@Godplayzdice 2 жыл бұрын
@@maryjanebrown4667 Speed limits are outdated. Germany has Autobahns with no speed limit sections. Extremely low rate of any accident. Wear the seat belt. Modern cars are very safe. If you drive 20 year old car with poor safety systems and no seat belt, the risk of death is yours. Sitting duck.

LOL why are people making a big deal over this? She wasn't drunk driving. It was an accident. She didn't purposely kill anyone. My God, if someone accidentally killed me by driving a car into me, and they had no drugs or alcohol in their system, and they weren't playing with their phone, it was just an absolute accident, I wouldn't want their life ruined over it. The judgement was perfectly fair.
