If you have to borrow money for a down payment on a car, you shouldn’t be trying to purchase a car. That in itself was the defendant’s biggest mistake aside from signing contracts she failed to read, let alone understand what they meant before she agreed. This is just terrible and very flat out stupidity!

While I agree with most people here, ignorance is no excuse however, dealerships should be held accountable too. People may need a car for whatever ever reason and out of desperation sign anything to make it happen and be able to drive off. I’m not saying what the defendant did was right but why would the dealer allow their employee to “loan” a customer money? She is not that nice!! The dealer was in on it!!

Most car selling outfits do in house financing anyways, there's nothing unethical about it. If you don't want any part of it then save your money before purchasing a vehicle.

I know alot of comments are coming down on the defendant for being ignorant but the plantiff has done that type of business before to just lend a stranger $2000 trying to make a sale. The plantiff knew she could make her money back w/interest and get a commission for selling the car. Plus she was prepare to writeoff the loss of any nonpayment. The plantiff is the slickster.

"I never would have signed that if I had know what it said." In other words, she thinks she's not responsible for legally signing for something she didn't read and comprehend. That has to be the stupidest, laziest excuse ever.

A/ Person with morals: I totaled the car. It is going to be a pain paying on a car I can't drive anymore so let's increase payments to pay it off sooner. B/ Person without any morals: I totaled the car so I ain't gonna pay for something I can't drive anymore because the loan crashed along with the car. C/ Defendant: I pick B.

I hope her future employers never see this video. This video shows that she does not pay attention to detail at all. Also, 10% isn't very high on a month-to-month basis. Credit cards are 25-35%

The perched lips and the lack of blinking by the plaintiff will give me nightmares tonight - with that said, she is 100% right and is owed the money she loaned the defendant.
