I am surprised that she pushed the button knowing that it would kill the kitten and she still did it. So essentially she did it. She murdered a cat.

First, the kitten didn't actually die. Second, This guy is a manipulator. She tried so hard not to do it, but he twists minds. By trying so hard not to press it, she pressed it.

She would have subconsciously known that she wasn't really killing the cat, because they wouldn't legally be able to broadcast it and animal cruelty is against the law. They never allow participants to break the law on these shows. Then again, she could just be a paid actor.

If she genuinely believed that that cat would die, then from a moral standpoint, yes she did it, irrespective of whether or not the cat actually died (like if you point an unloaded gun at someone, while genuinely believing it to be loaded, and pull the trigger: the INTENT was there, morally, even if not legally). But, as another commenter said, subconsciously she must have known that it wasn't real.

Why put the end of the show in the title, the whole thing is based on the fact you don't know what she will do.
