I let her know ahead of time of my three date plan. I let her know that I usually splurge on the third date after intimacy. Their replacement cars were rentals and also set on fire. They didn't have coverage for that and had to pay full value for 2 rentals. The delusion is out of control. We got two simple gold wedding bands ( no engagement ring) for $100. We got married 2 months after we started dating. We went to a justice of the peace and paid $25 to get married. The cost included $10 for the license, $10 for the justice of the peace and $5 for parking. I still have the receipts with our marriage certificate. We went to Bakers Square for our wedding day meal $25. I borrowed my mom's prettiest everyday dress for the ceremony. That was 34 years ago. Not one regret. It was just us and it was beautiful. Love truly doesn't cost a lot. 🎉

One of the first things my now wife did for me was to have me come over and she cooked me a fancy meal. It was memorable, as was the entire day and night. To this day, she loves to once in a while do something special for me, and I love to do special things for her. It's called CARING for each other. Modern women don't understand this. You know what I bought my wife last week? A Hummer EV SUV. She says it's her favorite car in her whole life. You know what I could afford the day I met her? A used Toyota Camry maybe. She was with me when I was doing okay, she stayed with me during hard times, she gets to enjoy the luxuries now that I'm stably up and earning, we live with our backyard view being fairway six of a PGA golf course mother falkner (PGA listed, not one they do actual competitions on, that would be impossible unless you are billionaire level lol). Yep, she gets all of that, and she spends tons of time with the grandkids now, who all love her Hummer EV and who all were raised to respect and love their grandpa. Living the trad/conservative life is great.
