I'm not willing (energetically) to do all that work, but gorgeous- and still glad I watched. i know I am commenting a lot these past few days, but you make me laugh so much!! I want that cocky confidence. I am about at the point where I don't care, just not quite at the "i know I'm sexy" place yet, LOL!! My lips are extremely peely and dry and no matter what first layer I put on (chapstick, vaseline, oils, gloss) I still have trouble. I do prefer matte lipsticks, often putting one of those underneath or over, because I want it to last more than 5 minutes, but usually doesn't work. I wonder if some bronzer or liner etc.. (maybe even just liner and gloss?) would help? I am just typing out loud. You don't have to answer unless you just want to. I know you can't answer everyone at all times. You have just given me new ideas and I am thinking how to implement. I am gonna find out where to get hair extensions though! Those are rockin!- Excuse me, you are rockin in them!! Hello Jen! Thank you for watching my video. I absolutely understand how my tricks are not for the general population. I am ok with that. Luckily for me I always do what is best for me regardless of how many steps I have to take. So if you want to take one thing for this long and tedious method of wearing lipstick that has everyone asking me if I get lip injections it's the following: wear SHEA BUTTER on your clean lips, very little not too much apply concealer for dry skin, look for it then BAKE the concealer with translucent powder, wait 2 minutes THEN apply your favourite matte lipstick. Your lipstick will NOT fade away after 5 minutes, your lips will not be dry, and you will be happy that you took an extra 2 minutes to have you gloriously happy about yourself for the next 12 hours. Oh, I am a big club goer. Which means dinner and drinks first at 8pm, dancing till 3am, going for more food and talking till 7am. When I get in the shower at 8am... my lipstick is still there. All this time I had tons of people looking at me and wishing they had that je-ne-sais-quoi about me. Plus I look so darn good in all my friends Facebook pages (I don't have FB) Cheers now. And yes I do answer my messages as much as possible. I love all my followers :)

Vaseline and equivalent products (mineral pils, parrafins ...) are not the best in the long run. When applied it moiturizes super quickly but if you use it regularly it makes your lips drier. So you put more vaseline and it goes on and on ... going for a more natural ingredient can be a nice option ( shea butter/cocoa butter, beeswax, oils ...) I find that my skintone and teeth color matter more in the choice of my lipsticks rather than my hair greying. Hugs from Paris 😘😘😘

marionkine Oh? Yet my dermatologist told me to use Vaseline in SMALL quantities and it has worked for me for decades. But thank you for the shea/coco butter options!!! :) So far my has not dictated which colour of makeup to wear. Althouuuugh red lips really kicks ass with my grey hair :)
