Pierre is an excellent teacher. Inspiration, he goes on learning and teaching for his whole life.

Pierre's reference to the importance of sensing and touch mirrors the philosophy of Bruce Lee. Bruce once told Chinatown student Bob Bremer that, "All I have to do is touch you and the fight is over."

Japanese karate or Korean karate along with Northern Shaolin kung-fu are not Martial Arts. Nor is there anything that is authentic called nonclassical Gung-fu. Simply bc "Gung-fu" is Mandarin for for Cantonese "Wu Shu". There is such a slang for non-animal forms called "old fashion gung-fu" taught by James Cook but it is not Gung-fu. It is just called that. The only real true Martial Art in the world since it was taken out of Shaolin to preserve the structures as a heritage to the Chinsese popl for discovering Martial Arts there after Buddha's visits. But without seeing what you are saying its hard to tell how phony it really is
