something tells me this is payback for not letting the youngster into the pouch :P Baby wombats are very intelligent, they've been known to stretch moms teet so its hanging out of the pouch entrance so they can have a sip on the go without the fear of mom closing the pouch with them inside of it

these animals are not slow though my friend. they can run up to 25 miles per your and have under ground dens to hide in.

They will become extinct in about 20 years. Bogans shoot them for fun, dogs attack them, they get run over by cars and some weird disease slowly eats them from the inside out
