I guess some people are very sensitive. I never seen a problem the way you handle those watches. No need for gloves. Great video on Roger Dubuis. They make amazing pieces.

Thank you for showing this. That Knights watch is definitely my cup of tea. Unfortunately for me, it costs orders of magnitude more than what I can currently afford. BTW, next time you show a skeletonized watch, can you strap it on your wrist to show how it'd look like when ones skin can be seen through the dial please? Thank you. Cheers and happy new year.

Thanks Terry and noted on the wrist shot

If you are interested in a similar look, there’s a brand called Legoss that has a simplified yet still nice looking version of the knights watch

That KOTHRT Watch is very amazing! Comparable to any work of art in the modern era. This may sound ridiculous, but I actually had a little bit of a tearing up because I was always such a big fan of the “King Arthur” stories growing up and found myself lost in the artistry of the writing! Looking at that watch stirred emotions in me that have been gone for awhile! Pure beauty and noblility in that piece. Thank you for displaying it!

Roger Dubuis make some spectacular skeleton pieces, I would refer them to the OGs at this point. Just on the looks and aesthetics taking finishing quality aside, would you say Roger Dubuis is losing to other brands that would cost a fraction of the price?
@winstonmace48655 жыл бұрын
Hi Roman, Roger Debuis did a partnership with Pirelli where the watches were limited to 8 pieces per color design. When Roger Debuis first started he only ever produced 28 pieces of each watch. Richemont then took over the manufacturing operations of Roger Dubuis and the business model changed slightly. Roger Debuis recently partnered with Lamborghini on a line of watched for their Huracan and Aventador models.

The amount of vibration that you generate by dropping the watches is negligible compared to the movement that your wrist generates wearing it daily. Enough already. The 2824 movement can handle lots more than a drop, which is virtually nothing. Great info on Roger. Be well,

Thanks for the great videos Roman. When you say you don't have a personal watch collection and instead wear watches from your inventory - are you wearing new watches or preowned? If you're wearing new watches does that take away from them being labeled as new?
@RomanSharf5 жыл бұрын
Roddy Rod I only put on watches that are pre-owned if I ever put on a new one that means I intend to wear it for a while and then sell it as a second hand watch of course

Great video. Although I really love RD styling as there is nothing out there quite like them and they scream “Money look at me “ without being iced out, they had some badly finished movements that didn’t make sense at this price point. Their easy diver line is fantastic and has the hand made aesthetic that is so valued in high value watches. Comparatively watches from AP and PP have lost that artisanal feel as they have introduced more machining into their manufacturing practices. But the world moves on.

I never understood the white glove thing. Even if the watch is new it's only fingerprints. Let's pretend I'm wealthy enough to buy a new patek. If I open it up and see a finger print, all I'll think is "damn, here's a finger print of the guy who makes this work of art" daydream for a second, then whipe it off and move on with my life.
