I am in my sixties now and can still turn heads when I walk into a room. Back in the day I was a "player" and if a women told me she just wanted to be friends, I was fine with it. I would finish the date for that evening on a pleasant note and take her home. Unknown to her I had already made a decision about her. By saying those words she had affectively reached her expiration date, and her phone would stop ringing. I would very tactfully not kiss her goodnight and tell her it was better this way. I already had two more like her I was currently dating and three more waiting in line to get in. Occasionally on that same evening they told me she just wanted to be friends, before the night was over we where having bedroom fun at her invitation. I remember one occasion when I was dating a college girl and we had just finished a home cooked dinner she had made for us. We were at her place for the evening, in the living room, on the couch, and getting ready to watch a movie.... when she announces to me that she just wants to be friends and that we wouldn't be having seex anymore. I very calmly said fine and continued getting comfortable on the couch to watch the movie. She seemed a little taken back by my reaction. She audibly said, "you didn't leave"? I told her I still liked her company and would be fine with the new arrangements. She cuddled up next to me and within a half an hour we were on the carpeted floor boinking.

The 'bored' thing is so true. I was getting an STD check once (actually not my fault lol) while at university. I remember many years ago this one girl was dating me and a friend of mine. I'm not going to let a girl get in the middle of a friendship so basically she was more than welcome to my friend. What's funny was our circle of Friends basically did what they could to keep things quiet about me getting married. The reasoning for this is she was all this time she's been asking for a ring from him and nothing.
