For example, if you have anger issues or past trauma go to therapy or anger management….get help & heal while you’re single. If your goal is to be a wife or husband…learn how to cook, read parenting books, practice discipline & being faithful. Get your finances in order….manage debt or get out of debt, save,… take care of yourself…eat healthy….go to the dentist. Take care of your skin & natural hair. Learn how to dress better. Learn about yourself and what you’re looking for. Learn how to be authentic. So much you need to do before you allow someone into your life.

It’s not the man’s job to “fix” a woman either. I told my ex I wasn’t her father and it just intensified the argument as if to say that’s where the root of her issue was. She never felt like she got full attention from her old man because her parents adopted kids and she was the only child. I’m a busy man so what she needed was constant validation and reassurance , which is what you give a child, not a grown ass woman. I had to get rid of her. That's crazy. Being a woman's first decent, resourceful dude is labor intensive.Chances are she will subconsciously or consciously find ways to sabotage that situation. It’s not anyone responsibility but yours to heal before you get in a relationship. Your partner shouldn’t be the luggage conveyor belt at the airport.
