Women Equality Day-Tanzania

Lina is a BLY Driller’s Assistant from Mwanza working at our client’s Bulyanhulu operation in Tanzania, 100 kilometers south of Lake Victoria and 163 kilometers southwest of Mwanza - where our BLY offices are located.
Lina loves her job for the financial security and independence; safety-focused training; career development and opportunity; camaraderie, and the assurance she can safely perform her job, thanks to BLY’s innovative tech utilizing automation and hydraulics to minimize and prevent harm and injuries. It’s just one example of the efforts we’re making to ensure we are an employer of choice.
On this Women’s Equality Day, let’s celebrate the milestones achieved, while recognizing and learning from the challenges. We share Lina’s story to inspire others to do same while proudly acknowledging our global footprint.
