Beyond immediate income, these person-to-person transfers significantly boost recipients’ financial resilience by encouraging savings and asset accumulation.
Join the Inter-American Dialogue on Wednesday, December 11, from 9:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. ET for a conversation about women, remittances, and financial inclusion in Guatemala to reflect on issues of prosperity and access to financial services for women. The event is based on a recently published study, “Women, Remittances, and Financial Inclusion in Guatemala,” by the Inter-American Dialogue’s Migration, Remittances, and Development Program.
