Jazakallah.... youve touched some "raw nerves" here..... our community has lost the understanding of the importance of gender segregation especially in community works , for as long as it involves something to do with community works then it automatically gives us a blanket green light to inter mingle with the opposite gender and do "gup shup" over dinners for as long as they discuss something to do with the community affairs....We have taken all this very wrongly and are interpreting religion according to our tastes and likes....Wallahi Ajeeb!

Thank you so much for bringing these clear and very obvious points forward. Saying all this I now hope at least YOU will be able to host AFED supreme council and keep a partition between the ladies and gents.

I’m a little nauseated by your mindset. Women go swim and let men go work in the sun? In Islam a woman is allowed to work and if she does not conform to the Islamic guidelines, it is between her and Allah. To keep women separated because she applied mascara and eye shadow, shows how little self restraint you have. Are you going to then financially provide for all the ladies who do not have husbands? Are you going to tell them mixed gatherings are not allowed and thus a lady cannot join the work force because of the looming danger of men? Because her pheromones might give out the wrong impression to the unsuspecting male?

We are talking about Muslim Women and Men mixing together in Community Service - not personal lives and so on.. SILENT and LISTEN have the same letters - so, SILENCE your thoughts and listen to UNDERSTAND, not just give rebuttals.... 😊

With all the due respect the word you used at 18.00 should not have been used especially by a Community leader as its very disrespectful. This clip of yours is open to the public and is heard by both Men and Women and it gives a very wrong impression as there are incidences where a man & woman have been forced to stay in the same room but due to the fear of Allah they have not committed a sin. I recall a story where a man burnt his fingers reminding himself the fire of hell just to avoid doing any Haram act. Disrespectful words should be avoided especially in a public speech on Social media.

To him, he is so Mulla, that he wouldn’t want a married woman full in hijab, to even sit one room with her cousin, NOT ALONE, NO; With the family All together ! No 1 Munafiq and Nerd.

astqfirullah, as a chairman you should be setting an example for others not talking about how a lady's hips are apparent. If you don't want ladies to have a say in ur jamaat its as simple as that rather than mentioning what she applies and where she applies them, have a little bit of self respect coming out on social media and talking about such as a "CHAIRMAN" not setting an example at all.. where is a mans hijab when it comes to such things?

I don't think you have understood what he's trying to say. There is a huge difference between Islamic shariah, and oppressing women and 'not giving them a say'. The simplest thing to do is refer to your marja', what does he say regarding gender mixing? Modesty has to be maintained on both sides. Simply put, a woman cannot go on wearing whatever she wants, wherever she wants; similarly a man can't go on wearing whatever he wants, AND looking at whatever he wants to, wherever he wishes to do so. All in all, in order to live in a conducive Islamic society, muslim men and women simply have to understand their limits and boundaries. As long as they're within shariah, they can do WHATEVER they want to do.
