I have childhood friends (Mother, daughter, Son and their daughter) that I was raised with who are biolgical family members of the James family. I would like to point out that the few I know are the most humble people I have ever got to know. Very respectful and really fun to be around. I miss them loads as they moved back near Dallas Texas. Chris had become one of my martial arts students after I came back from the national team. He works as a accountant today and Holly works as a x ray technician at a hospital. I cannot believe I found your videos at all, What a honor and blessing this is, thank you so much for the uploads

Jesse James' mother is Zerelda Elizabeth Cole. She is a descendant of the Cole family. She is not a descendant of the James family. She does not have physical features in common with the women of the James family. Therefore, she does not qualify as a woman of the James family. strictly speaking. Zerelda E. Cole is unlike Jesse James' wife, Zerelda Amanda "Zee" Mimms who is named after Jesse's mother. Zee Mimms is not only a descendant of the Mimms family she also is a descendant in the James family. Zee and Jesse, who are first cousins, shared the same grandfather in John M. James. Zee does share many physical features with her James relatives. Therefore, Zee does qualify as a woman of the James family.

ZERELDA wasn't a James by birth... she married one.

Zee and Jesse didn't have children, did they? Probably sad for Zee at the time of Jesse's death; but may be a good thing. I think they were supposed to be 1st cousins. It has been shown thru the years that as close a relationship as that can cause genealogical problems for some. Who knows...if Zee had had children by Jesse, one of them could have ended up severely damaged either physically or mentally or both.

The ole saying, 'If you are a carpenter, you tend to hit everything with a hammer'. It's not any different with policing agencies that sees everyone as a criminal. After the Civil War the James brothers were planning to go home and return to farming. But the Union bullies had so abused their mother, Mrs. James, that the boys went back out to avenge her good name. The rest is history, often negatively told, and filled with lies. But America has always had a tendency toward making it's enemies and then creating a faux history around the incidents once they've stomped the guts out of their victims... Just say'un...

Don't forget how as well as Mrs J having her arm blown off,their half brother was killed by that same device,Dr Samual was hung,cut down in time but with his mind impaired,Mrs J & Susie imprisoned,Jesse beaten half to death & shot under the truce flag.And the Youngers father was murdered,a sister raped,John hung but survived,& a sick Bursheba Younger forced to torch her own house under the Ewing bill.I think that's plenty of reasons to set the boys against the laws inflicted by the Union,don't u.I read somewhere,Jesse said "If the law is not prepared to accept our surrender,then there is nothing left to do but to continue the fight!"I would love for Hellieweird to make a factual film about the boys.But they'll have to grow up as an industry first.RIP to all of them.

Sure you are, John Love, and probably Billy the Kid, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, too. If you want to be taken seriously, choose ONE possible relative and research them. You can always fake it whether you are actually relayed or not. However, people are a lot more willing to accept ONE relationship with someone than you bei7ng connected to half the famous people in the country.

Are some of these people descendants of Jesse Edward James and his sister Mary Susan James?
@EricFJames4 жыл бұрын
The women who appear in this video are all born with the surname James. They all are related to one another and are part of the Jesse James family. Their married names appear following the hyphen in their name. Two exceptions were included because they are most well known among the James family. One is Elizabeth "Betty" Barr, a great-granddaughter of Jesse who bears many of the genetic physical characteristics of the James. The second is Jesse's wife Zerelda Amanda "Zee" Mimms. She is included because she and Jesse share the same James grandparents and her mother is a James. Like Betty Barr, Zee also displays numerous genetic physical likeness with her female cousins named James. Regarding Jesse's sister Susan Lavenia James, she married a Parmer/Palmer. Her children carry the Parmer/Palmer surname and not the James surname. So they are not included in the video. Thank you for your interest.
