I might be a bit late in commenting on this podcast, but it conveys a powerful message: any work in this world can be handled by anyone, regardless of gender. It all comes down to perception and mindset. Rutuja beautifully conveyed this message by sharing her story. The ship is dangerous for everyone who are working on it. And the feel of loneliness haunts you for life. The ones thinking of joining ships. Think multiple times. I repeat think multiple times before joining ship. Most of your best times to be with family is missed for life. Very shit profession. And the shipping companies pay less. Only few companies pay decent amount but they squeeze the work out of you.
