Humanitarian crises and violent conflicts have a disproportionate impact on women and girls, who are increasingly the architects of solutions for their affected communities. Despite their knowledge and lived experience,
women continue to be vastly underrepresented in positions with decision-making power. Empowering women as decision-makers, from the community to the global level, can drive solutions and accelerate peace. This session will explore what’s working to elevate and support women who are on the frontlines fighting a range of social, political, and humanitarian threats.
