Shame about that 2.5m/s tailwind, converts to 21.93 (0.0) :( Julien leans a little too early at the line, now needs to go Pro, rest up the rest of June, then run 2-3 DL Races in July in preparation for the WC in mid-August. Good run by McKenzie, Kevona & Jacious. Kevona should make JAM's 4-woman WC 200m Team, and very curious as to how McKenzie & Jacious perform @USAs! Talitha Diggs needs to give up running both the 200/400m at big meets like this like Adeleke smartly did!

Julien Alfred will never behave as a star .she will remain the little girl who left her family to go live poorly in Jamaica. She got her natural talent and speed perfected there. Julien's évolution has been steady. Her 3 finals in 2023 Budapest were a little disappointment to me. But Paris will be better. I think 200 meters will be her best result even if Shericka will be there again and Gaby Thomas will be dedicated fully to her training . 200 final will be at world record level Go Julien !@! Bravo from France ❤

Maybe, +2.5 helps a lot more than you think. She only beat the record by 0.07 if the wind were legal. If the wind were 0.0 she would have ran 21.89 and if by miracle it would have been exactly 2.0 she would have 21.75 if everything would have worked the same. The wind gave her the fastest all times 200m, that's more than fine.
