Olivia reeves's energy and strength is insane. Especially for her age. But Liao's little smile- the only reaction she showed this competition- was just teriffic to watch! Thank you guys for uploading and doing what the IWF wont do!

Mendoza's power jerk is off the charts. Even when she struggles to stand up the clean, her jerk is so strong that she barely even has to dip down. Absolutely incredible.

yea pretty dang impressive. Even when I was stronger in my early 20s I couldn't clean more than 280 but could squat 450. It is a lot of technique and flexibility which I do not have. I could never do much for snatches as my upper back is too stiff. I don't know how powerlifters have so much flexibility but its pretty dang cool.

Why is no one addressing the fact that Olivia Reeves back squatted 200kg,and not a “pOwErliFtEr” squat but an actual ATG squat😮😮😮,that shocked me more than Lu Xiaojuns 200kg bottoms up overhead squat

They should make the background walls color adaptive so that the lifters' arms and elbows can be seen. That Egyptian's 3rd lift looked a little suspicious.

Yes, I like the minimalistic approach (that I think the Russians invented long ago) where you do not waste energy - one can make a show of the lift but it still might not go...

Liao Guifang is a terrific lifter, no doubt, but why did the commentators not mention her 'thigh wiggle' as she was coming out of the bottom position on the clean? Tremendous power, but that wiggle could throw something out of alignment, sooner or later. I'm aware that many other lifters also quiver a bit on the rise, which indicates to me somewhat weak adductors as well as abductors. JMO.

Because they don't care and it's not worth mentioning. She's doing just fine. It's extremely common in female lifters standing up near max weights. If anything it would point toward relatively stronger adductors, not weak adductors.

Siento mucho decir, que la levantadora china, es en mi opinión dentro de competición femenina, su aspecto físico, más masculino que femenino!!. Conociendo los numerosos " trucos, trampas", de laboratorio, del PCCh, tengo muchas dudas de su leal y juego limpio, de competición. No deseo ofender a nadie, aunque sinceramente cualquiera puedo discutir, que su fisonomía es muy diferente a las demás claramente femeninas!! Existen y existirán muchas de estas circunstancias discutibles dentro de la competición, a raíz de la realidad "trans".!! Triste!! Rafa desde España

The Chinese athlete was born a woman, is a woman. I can clearly see that in the way she carries herself. There is nothing masculine about her body language. Perhaps she doesnt follow some peoples standards of what is considered an attractive or feminine female, ❤ or the fact that she is such a powerful lifter and excellent athlete. Chinese athletes are extremely disciplined in their training. They are taught very early that weightlifting involves not just technique but an incredible amount of grace. ❤

30:25. PRESS OUT. PRESS OUT This counted as a good lift when her elbows were unlocked and shakey after jerking but mirabai's 2nd snatch at bogota worlds '22 was a no lift. These judges are either corrupt or just incompetent and without a doubt the worst aspect of the sport.
