As a person who have no history with gymanstics except than being a watcher, I feel like Biles is playing safe with the things she has already perfected. I enjoyed watching China and Netherlands on beam because they added some unique moves. 3rd place Chinese girl was totaly in balance while Netherlander girl was wobbling a bit, but they tried to do new things.

This was Worlds, last year. I might be wrong, but it counts in eventually qualifying for the Olympics. I think you have to compete in an international competition to earn points or something like that.

If you look at Simone Biles, it is that she is such a small person-maybe under 5 feet tall- that she is able to tumble the way she does. Body dynamics makes all the difference. If she would be 2-3 inches taller it would be another story.

This isn’t the Olympics, this was last year world championships. What are you talking about😂? Simone has the highest difficulty and she can absorb the out of bounds deduction. And the girls have MUCH easier routines than Simone, so it would be sad if they went out of bounds as much as Simone, since they’re not doing anything on the level of her.
