Easy, cus the women stay more than just 1 season unlike the men, so the people/fans actually invest themselves into a star r multiple players. LSU womens team last season may not have been the first but they definitely added fuel to this fire thats raging for this attention. Iowa, South Carolina etc have taking it to another level this season.

What you talking talking bout? Some of their games are beating the NBA in ratings. Iowa VS. Ohio State with a 3.4 minion rating best the NBA. LSU VS. South Carolina with 1.6 minion views beat the heat game. Last year's title game of 9.89 million beat 99 percent of all NBA games (regular season and playoffs).
