The bes t korean pair!!they win so hard! Beating japan!

Nami & Shida's strategy and gameplay is easily to read. Against China / Korea they really have a bad records. Korea's tight defense frustrated them. And China's offense also frustrate them. Their coach needs to do something.

@@경은-j9e Shida has said several times when asked in interview that they will play as ShidaMatsu pair until the end. So I don't think they'll break up at this point of their career. Japanese WD also tend to last until one of them retires. Personally, I don't agree for them to break up when they're literally at the top5 in world ranking. They just moved up to WR3 after the WTF. It's not easy to forge an understanding with a partner and they've been together for so many years. IMO, they should continue to improve their defense and their coaches need to work on tactical strategies tailor made for LiuTan and BaekLee.
NamiShida not good enough, lost in French Open Final, lost in All England Final, lost in Singapore Open Final, now lost in Tour Final. If they don't improve they will continue to lose and be second best. So inconsistent, so many mistakes compared to opponents. They were lucky to get Bronze in Olympic, they were lucky to get into Tour Final with Chen not played for 4months.

Despite the lost they were able to participate in many FINALS, not some first rounds! And for every professional player on the very top there, luck also plays an important role in their achievement.
@avanpiperКүн бұрын
For most players, it's tough to even reach the finals. Sure, they need to improve their unforced errors and be more consistent. Still, I don't think people should discredit their achievements this year. Even if luck plays a role in them winning Olympic medal, it doesn't mean they don't deserve it. They fought fair and square according to the rules.

@@avanpiper Yup I like their play when they are in full flow. They can beat ANYONE on their day, they give Chen/Jia a run for their money as shown in French Open Final. They have proven to be quality players, but lack the extra step to reach higher level. Question is, do they want to forever be consider 2nd best, underdog or would they convert their potential into actual advantage and winnings. They aren't young anymore, if they are lucky they might have 1 more Olympic in them. Watch Lee/Beak interview, Lee don't even see them as a threat casually pointing out their speed lead to their error/inconsistency, dude your opponent don't even see you as a threat enough to respect you. Sad 😭 Ppl watch them long enough will know a lot of times in matches they seems to lack focus. And just as I point out about service situation above, how much effort, extra training have they been willing to put in. They have been in this top level competition for at least 6yrs+, and you still struggle with service? Unless some fanboy want to tell me their pinky finger injured so they can't serve properly... for past many yrs.... lol?? I can excuse them for many things/issue causing them failure. But you really can't excuse poor serving, that's just lacking practice. How do you expect to win pts when you can't hit a shuttle properly on serve with full control, but you expect to hit winners during rally under pressure? Come on get real. lol 🤣
@superyt4everКүн бұрын
Matsuyama is still the weaker of the Japanese pair with less skill and more mistakes.
What do you think? I think the women's pair played boringly. Because the attack was not strong enough, it took too long to finish a rally.
@superyt4everКүн бұрын
I think you complain too much as a spectator who is not in their position. Their goal is to win by making least errors and least risks, even if it means playing boringly to play conservatively.

It is what it is. When defence is much better than offence you need to force your opponent to make mistake instead
