Women's Group Song and Dance (Northern Togo, West Africa)

The women's group of Agninkata village of Northern Togo, near the town of Kanté, had a meeting to welcome me back after over 13 years. I had served in their community as a Peace Corps Volunteer working in the Girls' Education and Empowerment sector from 2009 to 2011, and I returned for a visit in 2024. They are singing in the Lamba language. "Awora" was the Lamba name given to me when I was a volunteer.
