@msbunnypaws As a 3rd Grade boy I fell in love with high jump at public school field day. Went home, built a high jumb standard, got bamboo for a bar and jumped every moment available. Today the Fosbury Flop which these ladies are doing has hurt the sport. Landing on the neck as they do has caused many schools to drop this event. The "pit" cost is astronomical. It is sport - no poles or balls or rackets - just your body and how high. So fine.

Fun fact; While men are mainly stronger than women with arm, torso, and upper body strength, women are mainly stronger when it comes to lower body strength. That's why the woman's strongest body part is her legs. That's also probably why women have more endurance than men, and why men can lift more weight using upper body strength.
