That one can get tricky. A 2-0 win is virtually a must for them. A three-set win I don't think will do it

Perhaps we ought to stop calling wins by Esmée and Zoé "upsets". Maybe the fact that they went 2-0 simply shows that they are the best team in their pool. They haven't stepped up their game. They just continue playing it.

They're certainly approaching that territory. Win over Tina-Anastasija probably not an upset, but I'd still consider the one over Mel-Brandie an upset, but there's an argument to be made that it's not. Fun team to watch for sure, and delightful people

@@SANDCASTPodcast Brandie and Melissa are losing to Anastasija and Tina as we speak (currently 14-21, 7-7). I'm entirely with you regarding their potential. When they first teamed up, I was excited and expected the best team in the world, but they have not yet come close to being that, and they certainly are not on top in Paris.
