Women's Royal Rumble Reactions from the Philippines

What makes the 2018 Royal Rumble very special is its place in history. Filipino fans such as myself are very fortunate to have witnessed the inaugural all-female Royal Rumble match this year. Lots of surprises, highlights, and of course cheers! And here are our reactions from Skinny Mike's Sports Bar in the Philippines. Sit back, relax, and comment (if you want to)!

After watching this several times now, I had to say it, some women you can tell was just having a load of fun and couldn't keep the smile off their faces. Mitchell McCool especially. Especially since she knew who's coming at 16! You can tell when she was hung up on the top rope, rather than grimacing, when she heard the fans doing the count down, was smiling! Same with Ruby Riot. She was having a fight with Becky but the smile broke more than once during the countdown! Torrie is another, Lita definitely, and so was Trish! Also, despite the cameramen trying not to do it, there were some great not so PG shots....Kelly Kelly's ass and hoo ha was completely right in the camera lens for more than a few seconds just before Nai Jax came out. When Vickie came out and into the ring, screaming "XXXXXX-CUZZZEEEEEEE MMMMEEEEE!!!!!" and the four girls lined up, we got a great shot of Mitchell, Becky (especially), Sacha and Ruby's behind! All in all, a great first rumble by the ladies!!!

And well well well....As soon as I mentioned the Kelly Kelly up her ass and honeypot shot (just before Nia Jax showed up while she was getting eliminated by Natalya), WWE and PG Era changed the camera angle to somewhere much much further away.........PPFFFTTT! Forget "outwrestle"... how about "outfight". Dan Henderson KO'ed Michael Bisping while in his 40s, Randy Couture won the heavyweight title in his 40s. Cormier is close to 40 and is establishing himself as maybe the best light heavyweight of all time. Anderson Silva kept his winstreak going until he was 40. How old were the last two Super Bowl winning quarterbacks? Manning and Brady were 40. George Foreman won the boxing world title at 45. So yeah, if all those people can be the very best in the world in their 40s... it sure as hell doesn't mean WWE performers are too old to get in there and perform their old moves for 5 minutes.

You gotta also keep in mind back in the attitude/ruthless aggression era, female wrestlers were trained much differently than "the slow slide to PG era" wrestlers. As Michael Cole said, Molly Holly was trained by Dean Malenko in Finland for petes sake! Their training was tougher, the skills needed to past the test and get into the main roster was tougher and you need to constantly to improve yourself to stay in the roster! However, that all changed with the like of Torrie, Trish and especially one Stacy "Long Legs" Kiebler. Put them in a thong and all the thirsty male fans just went "PANTPANTPANTPANTPANTPANTPANTPANTPANTPANT!!!!" "Give you money, give you money, give you money, give you money!!!!!" And WWE realized a pretty face, a nice rack, and especially a tight ass in a bikini/thong will SELL a lot more than skillz.....Hence a who generation of female "Rrrazzlarzzzz" who are all about pretty faces, barely mediocre wrestling skills and show off their..."assets"......Until currently....I mean, look at Kairi Sane, skills and looks and Asuka......Hence why the older gen may look better skill wise than a lot of the women wrestlers today...........However, you can still tell women just can't last longer than men when they hit their 40's....There is one point that comparing women to men is kinda...well, dumb.....and that's anything physical! Again, not being sexist, but it just the way it is.....Physically, women are just plain weaker than men, whether strength, stamina and agility. On average, men are just taller, more powerful and have more stamina. By age 40, women's slide begins a lot earlier and ends a lot quicker too and when menopause hits.....Due to massive loss of estrogen, they just can't keep up with men! Men? As long as they can 'shoot it', they can compete well into their 50's and early 60's with eating right, and exercise. Proof in points. Lita...All of 5 minutes...And most of the time resting in a corner....Molly Holly...Most of the time was outside the ring. Jacquelyn. Again, most of the time resting in a corner. Beth...Lasted all of three minutes. The only ones that performed really well was Mitchell McCool and Trish...And Trish still took some time off resting, especially when "flattened" by Nia. The only one that lasted any significant time and exertion was Kelly Kelly....But then she has the advantage of age at only late 20's and early 30's....The rest, if you watch carefully. All needed a break at some point when they are in the ring!

Ok. I'm proud on how my fellow Filipinos reacted during both Rumble matches but this guy, the uploader, probably gave the most unenthusiastic reactions throughout the match. Can you not limit your reactions to "What?!" Or "Wait a minute" and maybe stop the whole "I knew it" remarks. Give us what you really feel about the entrants, give us a genuine reaction! If you want/need to speak in Filipino just to show how happy you are then do it! Secondly, you flat-out disrespected the legends bro. Were you seriously asking if they can still do it? Dude, some of them still wrestle in the indies like Lita and I'm pretty sure WWE contacted them ahead of time so they can prepare/practice to atleast do some of their moves. You asked why Michelle McCool dominated? Well, you answered your own question! Because she's a legend! She deserves to at least have her moment. None of the women that she eliminated will get "buried" because they got eliminated by someone that has experience and publicity in WWE's past.
