11:00 those are built in belt keepers! They're to keep an outer belt affixed to the waistline. I used separate ones with my duty belt before upgrading to a velcro belt system, and i still use one to hold my keys. Weird to build them into the pants though, its just extra weight these days

I wear 5.11 mag pouch jeans and I'll never go back. The extra two pockets closer to your hips is genius! My girlfriend was going to sew that type of pocket in all her pants.

The pocket on the calf 13:20 looks like a pilot flight suit. It's easier to grab maps/charts when you're in the seated position in a helicopter.

The double-zipper fly seems like it might be handy if you have some kind of bulky, hard-to-remove battle belt situation that makes it hard to get at the top zipper. Not convinced it's necessary by any means, but at least it makes some sense.

My horrible mention for tactical pants would be surpless desert dpm trousers or Swedish m59 trousers if it's cold. Bit of tailoring if you feel fancy and they are the best trousers possible.

I an women btw. These 2 are the pants that fit me the best as to get most to fit my ass and hips the waist ends up way to big. And I the waist fits they don't fit in the bum or upper leg at all.

I love my knockoff Crye pants from IDOGEAR. I have two pairs I've worn constantly for both hiking and light building security patrol. They show no signs of wearing out, the features work, and most important of all they look suitably drippy if you're not a gear snob. There's absolutely no reason to spend $300 on pants when there's so many good knockoffs for 1/5th the price. The only downside is probably NIR performance but that's not in my use case so I haven't tested it

@@TacticoolGirlfriend and another view on it is that not all men are created equal, there are people like me out there that need 34x28 pants, and all i know is a basic him and i cant do them to combat pants because they have velcro and ankle pockets, so i just suffer with pants that make me feel like i am wearing parachutes on my legs; HOWEVER women's combat pants give me a option to be able to find sizes that are more tailored for what what look im going for (pants that actually dont have so much material that it bags on the boots and has just enough room for my thighs instead of pants that uncomfortably create points that have to much material) so thank you for your service and putting out brands that you have been using and tested per range days and brutality matches!

My fat ass is still rocking 30 EUR Chinese airsoft copies of the Crye and UF Pro that are always too short and have the knee pads situated too high (because I'm not exactly average Chinese sized at 1,90m / 6'3" XD). Maybe I really do need to finally get some proper combat pants 🙈

I'm not an expert on the topic but I think that male and female legs are usually different enough for mens pants to not quite fit right on women. And there's a distinct lack of female oriented gear reviews
