While her husband is fighting a war back home, she was working in real estate and going out with men while living in a five-star hotel, coming to a top-notch gym and not caring about the idea that her husband might die any day. This is why relationships were so common back in the day, a woman lived at home with her parents until potential husband came into the picture. And my response to her was based on my experience with females from this country who have been visiting Greece as tourists, that has been consistent throughout the years, way before any war started. Nothing ever happened, couldn't get a date, not even some contact info. They simply didn't need me, didn't see any benefit from interacting with me in any way, shape or form, and they had to show it. Even some who had come many years ago, and took citizenship, were distant even hostile. As it seems from the few things I learnt talking to neighbours who also knew me, they like to date the exact type of people who would raise their status...

Why care about it at all? Let them go to the highest bidder. I have known ones like that. And their beauty isn't even all up there. Personally, I don't like that Slavic nose structure that they possess, but some people like that. But more than that, their attitude is indeed very weird and selfish, and not just in dating, but at day to day activities as well. At first, I assumed it was because of the culture difference, but then, you slowly realize that Russians/Ukrainians and particularly Eastern Europeans have this urge inside them to upgrade, and it's a genetic one. Who you see as beautiful are the last remnants of people who struggled to survive in the Ex-Soviet landscape with what bare opportunities that they had, and now, I think that all of them are scared little girls who want the best option, simply to survive, because once they lose their youth, they become a babushka and no one wants that. Either that, or some daughter/relative of some Senior Official/ Business tycoon who wants a guy on her level xD. Rarely have I seen a good average woman from this region. You either get arrogant ones whose arrogance is real and backed by resources, or ones who are arrogant, but are backed by nothing and have crap in their accounts. There's no "Middle Class" good women. And if there are, they get into relationships early and get married in their own countries.

I've been honest about my situation in relationships and my economic situation hasn't always been great but it didn't seem to be an issue. Of course they might see the potential and my situation did indeed improve later after the relationship was established. I also know of a case where a guy moved into a girl's place and he also had ups and downs.
