It's a damn shame that when these games are on tv the commentators always use NBA players names as comparisons but not wnba players. That tells u something about that league they should be embarrassed

Summary of the first quarter: everybody stunk up the gyn except Ju-Ju. This first quarter was like the 3/2/24, UCONN WBB v Providence first quarter where everyone on the court stunk except for Paige Bueckers. One thing is for sure, women at the D1 level can shoot an elbow J and miss the entire rim and the backboard. I'm not sure how that is possible, but it happens in game after game. I've seen Hanna Jump from Stanford do that. If I were a D1 employed shooting coach, I'd paint the bottom of the rim black & tell every girl to stop shooting at the top of the back of the rim. If the rim has hangers, everyone will shoot better if they use the bottom of the net-hangers as their target. For those rims that don't have net hanger devices, good shooters either imagine a cone above the rim through which they drop the ball or they shoot at the bottom of the rim opposite where they stand.
