One of the singers of this drum passed away and him and his wife appreciated this song being sung in the honor of their family. I told him I was nervous and he said, "Just close your eyes and sing hard! Sing for the elders because that's what this song was made for. To honor our elders." =)

You can tell in the first half song, she was nervous. (Plugging one ear to hear herself, I’m guessing to make sure she was in tune.) in the second half of the song, you see her slowly but surely grow more confidence. Then she finally lets go of her nerves and sings straight from her soul. She sounds absolutely beautiful.

Such a beautiful native girl 💕 😘 Im not native , born in Philippines. But I get goosebumps when listening to this. I even know a native song that's sung with this type of drumming we learned on a native school trip here in Canada. Even went in the sweat lodge with the Chief.
