@@holyworrier the announcers even admit it, in which she lost control of the ball (possession). if you lose possession, the player has the right to regain that possession despite how it may appear. if she put both hands on the ball, then that's different. she mishandled the ball, not carry. carry by definition is handling the ball with the hand underneath the ball, to get an advantage in movement. If one mishandles the ball, the process of regaining possession of the ball (offense) has the player using their hand to bring the ball back to a normal dribbling state. And that's what happen. But despite that, UCLA deserved to win anyway, because Stanford is just not tough enough. They start to choke when their opponents don't fold.

This game was the most boring exciting game ever. The announcers had their heads so far up Stanford's ass, they were damn near whispering throughout. They made the game boring for sure. But low and behold, UCLA makes a great comeback, and no excitement from the announcers and the crowd seemed subdued. Stanford is too soft, that's their problem. They should've been posting Brink every possession down the stretch, to slow down UCLA's momentum. But when you rely on officiating to give you the benefit for so long, you start to expect to literally win every game. @26:25, Brink drives and misses the shot, pretends to get hit, hoping to get the call, literally giving up at the expectance of a foul call. That creates a SOFT team, while UCLA just kept hustling and playing as a team. AND she didn't carry, she mishandled the ball.
