Thank you for this thorough and honest review of this board. Especially with the notation about the software.

Great review! I’m in love with this keyboard🤩 For what you’re getting, I expected this board to be well over $150. Can’t believe this is under $100. You’re certainly getting more than what you pay for imo!

As a GMK67 fan, this keyboard looks like the metal alternative
@sc.studio4 ай бұрын
Yep you’re exactly right. Same exact layout but alu. So much nicer than an already really nice GMK67!

I already got two knobbed keyboard and kinda tired of it. So i went with the no knob version. the Weikav Lucky65. My friend who collects expensive boards thought that I bought a QK65 when i shared the finished build image. Might share the soundtest later this week.

That’s fair and a really good choice. I well believe they priced it higher than it actually is!

Good review. The SK65 is in fact the ¨knob¨ version of the Lucky65, which I already own in black and really like. I´m going to get the SK65 just to have the Lucky65 with the knob for my collection. I also have the Sugar65 in purple. I live in North America and I got it through AliExpess. So it´s not that hard to get if you don´t live in Asia. Like you said in the video, this is a very good entry point for those wanting to get into aluminum boards. This and and the Sugar65 may not be ¨high end¨ alu boards, but they sure look the part. When I have people over, they always ask me if I spent a ton on money on these boards. They´re shocked when I tell them the price.

Thank you very much! Ah your collection sounds brilliant! 😁 Good point - you can get some of these boards on Aliexpress however for some, the costs are as if you were buying them in the west; as opposed to buying from Taobao. I couldn't agree with that more, there's just a serious sense of sophistication here. Have you seen the ND75 by Chilkey?

Haha man I'm in the exactly same spot! Love the look of lucky65. The anodized blue is pure beauty, but the lack of knob is a huge pain for me. I have to order sk65 but now I'll have to do something with stock switches and keycaps.. Wish they deliver barebone sk65

Thank you sir 🤝 I simply cannot get enough of it - you wouldn't be disappointed with it's performance...whatever about it's layout if you want to optimise productivity - that's a call you'd have to make ☺

As the keyboard also supports ISO, where are the pins slots for the other two keys right here 6:21 ? In the ISO layout you have got 2 keys instead of one big shift button

Nice review! The board looks solid, but the loss of the function row is too much for me to consider it. Also as a graphic designer and typographer, low contrast type is a personal pet peeve of mine so I could never use those keycaps on my personal board. Though I do like the colors it comes in and the knob does look classy.

Thank you very much! 😀 The function row definitely adds to the QOL usage of a keyboard so I get that! It's a bit of a form versus factor conversation - they sure do look good!

Just got mine a two weeks ago and was blown away by how much better it felt to use than my old Corsair k95 with MX browns that I had been daily driving for years. It’s only two flaws in my eyes are it’s terrible red button on the knob (which you can thankfully replace) and it’s lack of wireless functionality. Both of which are pretty minor in my eyes.

Yep the Hi75 is a great board! There's a transparent knob piece in my Aliexpress basket ready to be shipped with my next order 😁

i can't decide between this or the Yunzi al66...it seems like the main difference is battery size and side lights?
@sc.studio3 ай бұрын
Those are certainly factors. The case finish is much nicer on the SK65 to the touch as well

I'm going to be honest, I didn't think I'd like the plant mounted stabilizers and I had PCB mounted one's ready to go... But I think I will keep the plate mounted ones.

Just got it. Man the knob is too stiff. It's so hard to move and not consistant at all. Wish it was smoother. Hard to move with 1 fingers.
