The first time I watched this drama was when I was 16 and it made me cry back then... 10 years later, I'm now 26, and this shit still makes me cry. Favorite drama of all time.

not to offened anyone but this must be an asian thing..............cause in the US everyone is different colors and all different types. I'm not use to growing up in a country where the majority of people are the same race...........so it's kind of hard for me to understand why the parents are so upset

I think Kankoku culture, is very Kankoku, or very Korean culture. If Japanese culture or Okinawans from Japan want to intermarry Ji hoon it is kind of looked at non homogenous to together Kankoku or kahoots Korean culture. Koreans like being Korean culture not Japanese style culture. I believe because also many Kankoku, Korean families are very nobilitie yangban clans similar to Japanese hierarchy.
