Won the lottery? What Canadians should do if they take home the jackpot

Canada could see Lotto 6/49 award its largest-ever jackpot on Wednesday night as its Gold Ball draw is guaranteed to be awarded after weeks since it was first put in place, with $68 million up for grabs.
But if a Canadian were to win this or any big lottery jackpot, there are a lot of factors that need to be considered aside from just winning a huge amount of money.

Why is there never any accounting of this money? Why are the Provinces still in staggering amounts of debt even with all the money generated by lotteries? Interesting and disconcerting to note that in Orwell's book '1984' lotteries are governed by the 'Ministry of Plenty', that no one actually wins, the lotteries are a sham. So much else of the world we live in now resembles that book, I wouldn't be surprised if Orwell was right about lotteries as well. Also, lotteries were introduced during Pierre Trudeau Senior's reign. Along with abortion, legalizing homosexuality, he legalized gambling. We used to live in a society that was based on a moral bedrock. You earned your daily bread by the sweat of your brow not by playing games of chance. Pre-Trudeau it would have been inconceivable that the Government would oversee a gambling industry for the people it governed. @@janesmith1398

In regards to working for the numbers, I keep track of the winning numbers every week, look for any patterns, then once I'm done updating my documents is when I start studying the pattern that I noticed/felt, repeat the pattern over & over to get a feel for it, then start calculating the numbers, play them for the next draw, and see what the result ends up being. You Gotta Be IN IT to WIN IT!
