In many ways it's actually better this way don't you think? While jyp routinely saw and monitored all the artists leading up to WG, it came with some downfalls. JYP seems he wants to best for his artists but even WG in the past talked about how hard it was to stray away from his suggestions and opinions, it was one of the reasons why they left jype. It's much healthier for JYP to limit his input in artists. Every now and then he'll make a song and it will be good for that artist. He still talks to the artists. Feel special was made after jyp called twice into his studio to discuss their 2019 hardships. but at least now the company can run if he hypothetically disappeared. before he had to be there

Why do you care if the new generations disrespect WG. We are currently in an era that even when their idols directly address sasaeng's wrong doings the fans completely disregards the message and take it as encouragement, why should we be concerned by opinions of others that are way past our generation. What matters is the respect they earn at their peak and the legacy they leave behind. Whatever happens after is insignificant. The new generation will always sideline older legends because they have not lived in our era.

It may have not been the best decision for them as group but for me without that moment my life would be incredibly different. They impacted me in more ways then they will ever know. As a young kid I went through things no child should ever have to go through. 13 year old me needed something to keep her going and kpop became the happiness and escape I desperately needed. Even at the age of 24 kpop still serves as a source of happiness for me and has impacted every part of my life in some way. I’m now a year away from finishing law school and year away from teaching in Korea and learning more about our world’s education system so that I can eventually after visiting a few other countries come home to the U.S to do education policy.

That's what differentiate Wonder Girls with other idol groups. How they are trying hard to make Kpop into world stage while Kpop wasnt well known at that time. Not gonna mentioned they paved the way cause it might bring some issues but for sure Wonder Girls helped a lot to build that bridge for Kpop to the world.

The first ever kpop i ever heard is nobody. No one could hate this song. And then the second kpop song i heard also from jyp, 2pm, put your hands up. I really in love with them at that time.

This might have been one of the many reasons why people all over the world started liking kpop. I remember hearing this song as a kid and the entire world is dancing to it. Memories memories.

I'm happy for them. They still have that strong bond even after WG's disbandment and even if they are not in JYP anymore. 🥰🥰 At the same time, i'm also sad that YG never treated 2ne1 like how JYP treats WG. 🤧🤧 2ne1 was even removed from the artist list last year and it feels like they just vanished. 😢

I read that YG holds around 600+ songs CL made during her American debut, I can never move on from knowing that and it breaks my heart so much because there really is no group in par with 2ne1 yet 😪

Because YG is full of himself. For him, the artists are his personal money-makers. And he's also bitter with girl groups so when 2ne1 debuted, they felt the mistreatment. I mean, who would show an entire Bigbang episode on 2NE1 TV (season 1) instead of showing the girls? I love Bigbang but that's just disrespectful to the girls, but hey they were just rookies at the time so they couldn't say anything. YG himself never really bonded with girl groups (2ne1 and Blackpink). He's always been close with Bigbang, and made effort to bond with Winner while 2ne1 was just doing their thing.

I just watched the full episode segment & you get to see how much they’ve gone through and what they mean to each other. The JYP segment was really touching. You can see how much they care for each other and value each other’s happiness and well being. I had no idea he was in the trenches with the girls as their road manager trying to break through in the US. In hindsight, along with the recession, it was just bad timing. There wasn’t social media back then and KZbin was just in its infancy. The global popularity of K-Pop right now is largely due to those technologies. The industry has been trying to break into the Western market for a long time.

Jyp =/= jype y'all. Jyp himself isn't managing his artistes directly, he has a whole company to do it for him now. Yes jype has fucked things up a lot, and jyp himself isn't perfect, but his attitude towards his artistes has always been the same - a father figure who genuinely cares for all of his kids, regardless of whether he's close to them (like god, rain, wg whom he literally struggled and grew with) or his newer artists now. I see that the most from him out of the big 3 founders, LSM or YHS feel a lot more impersonal in their interactions with their artistes. When your company gets this huge it's normal to start feeling the disconnect, but imo jyp tries the hardest and that's really respectable of him

He said “He lived with G.O.D and Rain (Bi Rain) like that and Wonder Girl were the last artists I lived with“ Omg their really make a perfect story I like relationship between JYP and Idols under JYP Entertainment even Idols already left the company. It show how his intentions “ Idols not who just make the money for company” Idol all just a human and they want their own way to grown up. I appreciate most of Idol JYP they are a good person , good manner, funny person and kindhearted. P.s. Sorry , I’m bad at English.

Lol wow. i suggest you actually do research and learn what YG has actually done for his artists, ecspecially from the start for 15 years... and the exact same principle goes for YG as JYP, as in HE DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH THE COMPANY'S AFFAIRS NOW, even if he was the "founder" that has no bearing on what the company does...doesn't matter how much stocks he had, the CEO still has to do what she feels is right, and they don't even handle the artist.. they have their own managers and many layers to deal with the artist...yet people are so naive and always blame YG for every little thing that the COMPANY decides and does.. the current CEO handles things beyond your comprehension and is way too busy to deal with BP and others like everyone assumes, people need to learn to seperate the founder from the company. you gotta look at the bigger picture as many of you guys are only thinking in simple and basic terms.. you guys think BP and others are being mistreated and what not but they're actually amoung the best treated idols in kpop... you guys gotta stop beliving everything you read from other fans and actually believe real information from actual sources lmao
