The Wonder Girls are real down to earth, friendly women. I felt they were very genuine. I have seen other KPOP groups interviewed [not necessarily by you] that seemed scripted. Like they were behaving as the Entertainment company wanted them.

They have lived in New York( I guess) over 1~2 years in order to learn English. The company kinda encouraged them to do so.

suyong SHIN Uh JYP Ent. basically had them learn english and japanese. They were trainees for 7 years before debut so they have good english.

Martina's "you get along well comment" (2:55) is so true. It's part of the reason I'm starting to like them so much. They're nice and seem down to earth, unlike a lot of celebrities nowadays. Wonder Girls, you have restored my faith in celebrities!!!!!!!!!

Simon, I as a Polish kpop fan want to really thank you for spreading Polish language among korean singers. First Super Junior with "dzień dobry" and now Wonder Girls with "Dziękuję". Seriously, everytime I see that I'm very touched.

I'm not a huge Wonder Girls fan but I loved this interview, I thought the girls were so nice and their English was really impressive. I was a bit worried that the interviews might feel sort of awkward but it didn't at all, it was nice to see a different side of the Wonder Girls. Even though their music isn't really for me, it's great to see any Kpop group being successful outside of Korea. :)

I know English is worldwide and almost everyone knows it or needs to know English but I personally feel that speaking to someone in their own language (especially after travelling half way around the world) is a sign of respect.

KZbin/Google arranged it. They invited Martina and Simon to the MBC Kpop Concert in Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California and asked them to record activities there, including a few interviews from the performers--Wonder Girls, Sistar, & MBLAQ.

The reason so many international people love K-pop is that although it's in Korean, if you like a song it doesn't matter which language it's in, music is universal, to me it's no different to someone enjoying opera that doesn't speak the language, they tell a story! Also, we love the people too :3
