I hope they really do a collaboration stage for their upcoming JYPNATION tour! They always have special stages during these tours and a collaborations between JYP's two bands would be awesome! I'm actually really excited for this tour (even though I won't be able to see them live anywhere T_T) especially because this is Day6's and TWICE's first JYPNATION tour plus they will be releasing a JYPNATION song as well! :D

jyp didn't write them because want them to their own stuff plus if you read their interview they said that the company want them to put more songs into the album but they didn't want cuz they want to just out the songs that they can perform And they already have more than 10 songs ready and they will put their in their upcoming album

WG said they had 10+ songs for a spring release, but were deferred for months. When JYP was ready again (& wanted a fuller album), WG decided to go with the 3 songs that are suitable for summer.

The instrumental from 1:34 to 2:00 just slays. Sunmi's bass line is instantly recognizable, Yoobin drums over it, Hyelim shanks her guitar, Yeeun plays staccato keyboards. Solid technical expertise from each, resulting in WSL's familiar reggae groove. It's like the long instrumental in 'Hotel California' (also partly reggae). Wish we can see WG do a similar extended jam of their song.

aoa black is just a concept, where WG have become a real band. WG write their songs and practice hours a day. AOA Black just play the songs that are written for them, and their skill at their instruments is much lower, only good enough to play those basic songs. Yuna is really good at piano and keyboard, Mina is basic at bass, and Jimim/Choa look like they cant do much more than strum.

+thesorrow312 AOA Black was not just a concept. They were trained to play as a band even before debuted. If you saw their debut songs and their performance when they just debuted, they are pretty good for a rookie band. When they first debuted they had alternate their perf between dance and band (for the first 2 songs) However, cause they were not get any popularity, FNC decided to come out with AOA Black and White in order to try to promote them more since sub-units was really popular at that point of time. After AOA Black song if MOYÀ came out they came back with Mini skirt in which the dance made them a lot more all known and since then they kinda ditched the band concept as it didn't worked out. At the same time, if I am not wrong, Jimin hurt her wrist and it might be hard for her to perform professionally again.

Nah the band concept is a risky gold mine. AOA was a full band from the get-go. They still do performances with their drummer in their concerts, but they didnt make it big till they switched to sexy dance concepts. I feel like the main reason its paying off for WG is cos they have a stable fanbase to experiment with :)

I honestly didn't know wonder girls were this awesome! I only knew their one very well-known song back in college, Nobody..It's too bad that they disbanded. I understand that k-pop audiences these days are hard to accept girl groups that actually play music instruments when they perform, because it's an unusual concept to them. But really, these girls have so much potential to make a comeback. I know that each of them has walked their own path, but please JYP make it happen..
