What an absolutely stunning ship! I’m actually living on ships all of this year and have just finished a week on Royal’s 2nd oldest ship in Israel - it’s so nice to see the new and the old having such similar features. Thanks for sharing this Andrew & Laura! I love the Oasis class ships. My now teenager(almost an adult 😉), has been in the different age range kids clubs on multiple RC ships and has loved them all! We hardly ever saw him - he was having far too much fun to spend time with us 😅. For anyone bothered about having to pay for the restaurants, don’t be, as there is so many included options that you don’t need to go to any of the up-charge ones if you don’t want to! Although the sourdough onion rings at Jonny Rockets were worth the extra few quid 😉 Once you have booked a cruise with RC, there are loads of offers on for the drinks package and internet packages at various times - i.e Black Friday, Christmas sales etc. We got a bargain price for the soft drinks and internet pack in a Black Friday deal last year! Thanks for sharing your trip with us, it brings back lots of happy memories 😍

I’m generally the same Amanda - find out what’s included, and don’t go on a crazy splurge. With a company like Royal, the ‘included’ offering is so strong that there’s no need to be spending loads elsewhere on other bits!

The solarium on Wonder is the only oasis ship that’s fully enclosed. It’s temperature can be controlled by the ship. (Air conditioning). The other Oasis ships have semi open cover.

Drinks package are expensive if you are not really a drinker . Unfortunately I am 🤣 so it makes sense for me to pay for it . The drinks are nice and plenty , you should ensure tho that you ask for your premium brands when asking for you drink .. e.g Grey Goose , otherwise they will give you the cheaper one . Also ask for a bottle water everywhere you go . It’s handy to keep in your room .

@@jkiahampton6295 your thought is correct. Of course your scheduled dinner at the main dining room is included as well as the main buffet. The only thing that varies between cruises is how many extra charge restaurants you have on board. Very easy to get through a whole cruise without spending an extra cent on food, as long as you’re not picky!

@@jkiahampton6295 huge piece of advice I have for all new comers: try to branch out with excursions. Don’t fall into the tourist traps! The cruise will have options on board for offshore excursions but they just aren’t the same as the locals that are pushing their business without the cruise advertising for them.

The drinks packages vary from time to time. They just put them all up fleet wise. If you work on £70 -£80 per person you won’t be far away. We used to get them for £50 not that long ago.

Looks a nice ship. We have never cruised. I went on the RC website today. You can get a price for a room , choose which you want and book with a deposit. No option to book a drinks package. They show the different packages on their website but there is no prices or where we would choose it on the booking? Any ideas? Would be helpful imo to have something that showed how you booked .
