Great tips! I sailed Wonder's first Transatlantic cruise last April. One tip I agree with 1000%, for embarkation day as well as the entire cruise: the Solarium Bistro. It's free just like the buffet but with more personal service and, I think, fresher, better food options. I ended up having breakfast there almost every day and never had to deal with a crowded buffet (as well as lunch and a few dinners). That said, we were lucky because there were only 3600 passengers on the 7000 capacity ship - and only 68 kids under 18 (vs 2000 on its previous sailing which had 4600 passengers). The crew to passenger ratio was 2:3! But the ship is so big that I'm sure even if it's full people will have plenty of space. P.S. My very first cruise was out of Canaveral and I used GoPort for parking. I'm only a 2 1/2 hour drive away but there was no other sensible option but to drive and park there. Since then, I have used GoPort for parking for all my Canaveral cruises. They are great.

Totally agree!! MUST make all dining/show reservations right after finishing Muster Drill. I was able to get all my restaurants, I never ate in the MDR. We had unlimited dining pass.

Just a warning IF you need a wheelchair lift bus there are ONLY TWO trips. I think like 9 AM and 2pm or something. ALSO they contract with ESCOT so just PRAY you dont get stuck on the bus and almost miss the ship!

Were going on a cruise with princess soon. Its been a few years since our last cruise . What is allowed on the cruise ships and what is not? Like hygiene , hair products and tools etc? Do you have a video about this already?

We do, but this will help! www.princess.com/learn/faq/pre-cruise/what-to-pack-for-a-cruise/ Hair dryers, flat irons and curling irons ARE allowed, and toiletries are fine. Things like irons/steamers are NOT allowed. Hope this helps!

A tip I just learned. Your passport can actually be scanned to steal your personal information. There are inexpensive RFID blocking passport sleeves. I hold mine in my hand inside the sleeve and simply pull it out when needed.

you can either book in on the website before the cruise, or just try showing up. Lots of people walked in on the first day - it was quiet for a while! I would book in advance though!

They do have an "early to port" option at some hotels. Best to check with them. You will be bound to the the pickup time from the hotel, but in our experience, it worked out well.
