Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) follows up Wonder Woman (2017) with an 80s-set sequel featuring Diana (Gal Gadot) facing off with Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) and Cheetah / Barbara Minerva (Kristen Wiig). How exactly does the movie's complicated dreamstone logic work, and how does it fit in with the other DCEU installments -- Batman v Superman, Man of Steel, and Zack Snyder's Justice League? Erik Voss breaks down WW84 for all the interesting details you might have overlooked, and the underlying intentions by director Patty Jenkins to address some of the more confusing plot holes in the film. What interesting details did you miss in the Wonder Woman 1984 post-credit scene?

If Zack Snyder's Justice League or The Flash movie address the events of WW84, what would you want that to look like?

If anything, I'd like to have just a tiny nod to it. Someone says they wish for something mundane like to be home or something of the like and Diana says "careful what you wish for"

i'd want it to look like the post-credit scene of Deadpool 2 where flash just goes back and retcons the entire film with a simple fix because the WW84 was awful. It was the TLJ of comic book movies.

I Want a More Broken Bruce Wayne. A Bruce Wayne that lost his Parents 2 times (One from being killed and One from the Wish). A Bruce Wayne that would be so Broken He did'nt became Batman. And then Flash would Visit him seeing a Gotham run down by Villains because there is No Batman.

It makes me feel like everyone else who watched it didn't even care about the CHARACTER work that deliciously carried this information dense story. The fact that I felt like I was reading mid to late 80's WW comics! Ay Dios Mio!!!! (Yeah: im old enough for that) Tysm for dropping this video. I didn't even know i needed it🤗

I don't get how people are saying the film doesnt have much action. It has more action than the first one I believe. The first had the fight with the soldiers vs. the Amazons, the extended No Man's Land fight, and then the third act. That's only three big action sequences (granted the NML fight was pretty long). But WW84 had the opening race sequence, the mall heist, the Cairo car chase, the White House Fight, and the third act. That's five major action sequences as opposed to three.
@LILREZY01
@LILREZY01 3 жыл бұрын
@@ndudiobichi3515 not much really happened in those scenes tho. The entire time, its like you’re waiting for some great action sequences just to be met with scenes full of jumping, running and blocking. Not alotta dope choreography. The action scenes felt more forced/half assed than genuine. Its like they did the bare minimum to meet some sort of quota

@@MiloMurphysLaw I think the movie only needed on villian and lord wasn’t a strong enough character to be the center. He couldn’t have any combat and his only motivation was power, but I think if they just focused on cheetah and the dynamic between a normal person and a god with a great actor like Kristen wiig it coulda been rly interesting.

Hear me out, I haven't hammered this all out. What if Pedro Pascal was Dolos?! Keeps up the Diana vs the Greek Panthion story, make Cheetah the main focus untill Diana is ready to stop lying to herself about Steve, cut out his kid and anything making him sympathetic just let him go full crazy super villain! Might help cut the crazy runtime down.
