The best thing is that Gal never minded and always laughed when Chris caught her language booboos. Chris Pine is a Berkeley University Literature graduate and during the Star Trek promos, he routinely had a thing going with Zachary Quinto re language mistakes lol. The two of them were hilarious! Me: I think that was the intention, because it seemed intentional that the movie seemed like it was from the 80's to fit the setting of the film...like Stranger Things does with a different tone of story, you know? It's so awkward how like Patty and Kristen are like, "yeah they become fast friends!" But, like... This wasn't even the case for the film, their friendship was like 5-minutes tops, not developed and Diana didn't even care about Barbara cause of the route they went with. Also the whole 80's theme in this film was heavily neglected, not used, it didn't even feel like it was set in the 80's the timeframe barely had any part in the plot despite the titling of it. Which sucks, they blew their chance. So much wasted potential.
