Firstly, thanks for watching. Whether you like, or dislike, our live action interpretation of Diana of Themyscira, Wonder Woman, born of clay, I think (quite a few of) you will agree she is a character just as vital and crucial to our understanding of humanity as any other superhero... if not more so.
We spent the majority of 2013 working on this -- the look, the feel, the aspects we most wanted to portray. It's a scant two and half minutes, but in the end, it's one hundred and fifty seconds of pure fantasy, where I get to consider the two sides of my favorite warrior: a crusader in man's world, and a paragon of virtue told through Greek mythology.
It's a fun world to hang out in. I hope you enjoy it.

Nicely done. It melded both aspects of her heroic and Amazonian persona in under 3 minutes of a potentially 90+ minute film possibility. There are ways of writing a movie version of her that could make fans both old and new wanting more, stretching out who she is and her place in the scheme of thinds in a complicated... but doable feature film. It only takes an understanding of the character and imagination. Movie goers will believe if it is written/directed well enough.

Just to be clear since I'm pretty sure 90% of the people commenting don't know THAT much about Wonder Woman, yes she is a warrior, but the amazons were also blessed with grace and beauty by Aphrodite, which explains her figure, luscious hair, pretty eyes etc. They aren't just warriors, they're woman, beautiful women. It has never made sense to me that people attack her because she is skinny when her strength is MYSTICAL. Her strength is given to her by the gods meaning whether she be fat, skinny, short, or whatever her strength will not change as well as all amazons and to touch back on the beauty subject, it is even listed in her powers template that she is gifted with DIVINE GRACE, which is why she isn't as grungy, primitive and brutish as typical warriors or others incarnations of the amazons that you may read. This is why I think Wonder Woman is they way she is and I feel like this trailer was perfect especially since there was no dialogue.

I agree with you. People complaining about Wonder Woman being skinny makes no sense at all. In order to build muscles you need resistance to break your muscles to rebuild them. If her powers are by Divinity there is/ no resistance.

I keep coming back to the really awesome clip and am in awe. It's really amazingly well done and the actress surprises me. I grew up with Lynda Carter being Wonder Woman and felt there could be no other .....until now. This clip made me believe that a movie was not only possible but it could be done by this amazing woman.

I think this short is nigh perfect. The music was excellent, the visuals, the way it flashed back to a previous battle with her fellow amazons, so that it paralleled what she was currently doing, and tied in a bit of her past and where she is from, was great. Her attire, and appearance, were 100% WonderWoman. Also, the surrounding environment added some darkness to it. Given that she was only fighting some thugs, it made the city in ruins look a bit out of place. Like what happened that it became that way, and where was she while it was happening. But, I think the only shortfall, for me, in this short is the way her fight with the thugs was portrayed. A bit, ungraceful, slow, clunky, and unskillful looking. Given her nature, she has phenomenal speed, perfect grace in movement, and ability. These guys would not have stood a chance. The fight would have been over before they even had a chance to fire one shot at her. Not a fully fleshed out representation, or choreography during this scene. Overall, though, I have to say this short has so much beauty in it's imagery, and is mesmerizing to behold. I think it was awesome, you are all very gifted individuals. Thank you for sharing those gifts. One other item of note. I am not sure if any of these thugs in this short were meant to look like they were killed, or that Wonder Womans actions in deflecting that bullet, supposedly, killed that guy, but, given her speed and strength, and her nature, I do not think she would have killed any of them when she is perfectly capable of disarming them and, effectively, rendering them neutralized.

I was a Xena fan, and I found myself watching this video over n over again. I think she has the perfect facial build & expression for an amazon esp. when she moves in for the takedown. The wardrobe looks more formidable like the Spartans or Vikings, a much more practical upgrade for the character. Awesome, AWESOME!!!!!

Actually that would be great for the next Marvel Movie Waves. Wave 4 will be based on the World's Most Wanted-Stark Resilient storylines and Wave 5 will be the Armor Wars series. I think that about covers the Iron Man series.

Wonder Woman should have a well defined muscle tone not to exaggerated because for her to be fast she does not need to have too much mass, this video was great. Wonder Woman needs to have muscles like King Bruce Lee, he had a small body buy his body muscle % was at least 97 or 99% he had very little body fat, that's why he was so strong and incredibly fast.

This trailer best represents what Wonder Woman is as a character and being a kick ass hero. They could have added more to this and showed more of her humanitarian side like they did in the Warner Bros. animated movie or the comic book Wonder Woman: Spirit of Truth. This is so beautiful and epic looking! Wonder Woman's costume appeared reasonably realistic and much more like what I'd expect a Greek warrior to wear. And the environments…wow, the environments! Did you use green screens, or did you do some on-location shooting and then add visual effects (for the city scenes at least)? Someone said that you used "Cinema 4D". Whatever it is you used, it rocks. Kudos for all your hard work!

After watching 3 of your films... I'd say technically, you guys have a lot of talent and potential. I'd say the weakness of each one comes in direction. There's a lot of disconnect and odd visual choices... along with some really poor acting that could be addressed with some stronger direction. After viewing that Diana's Secret Commercial. I've come to the conclusion that as much as people are shitting on Gal Gadot, she will nail the part. This woman's(much respect to her)physique isn't that much different from Gal Gadot's. I mean come on she wasn't exactly a IFBB Female Pro so why does she seems like a better fit? lol atnd there was no dialogue what so ever, so how can people say Gal will suck when there has yet to be any footage of her in action. I support Gadot who is dedicating her time to make the upcoming WW Film work. That was AMAZING! I have been a HUGE Wonder Woman fan since childhood and have always been disappointed with just about every attempt to bring her to life on screen... THIS is the same vision I've always had in my head about how she should look and be portrayed, even the actress is perfect! Nice design for Wonder Woman. But, how come everyone doing fan films think Wonder Woman is a karate woman who can block bullets with her bracers? She's nearly as strong as Superman (not "as strong" by any means, but among the strongest in the DC Universe making her several thousand times stronger than Marvel's Thor or Hulk (Marvel is on a much lower strength scale)) and has super speed. FAST super speed.

Because she does need to deflect bullets. Wonder Woman has always had terrible durability when it comes to knives, swords and you guessed it...bullets. She uses her bracers, because she can be shot.

Yup, I know it's not the trailer for the 'actual' WW movie. But I'd still have liked to see this 'fan-made' trailer use WAY less slow motion. It's ok to use here and there, but this was relying on it and that got very tiresome and long-winded. Granted, it's not made by professionals, but still....over-use of slow motion is a pet peeve of mine. As cool as this was. :)

I understand the women involved with writing for the Wonder Woman intro in the Superman and Batman film have left due to the degrading of WW by the men involved who replaced them. Apparently the men feel they are better qualified to write how Wonder Woman should present herself than a woman is capable of doing. As a male, I find that absolutely intolerable and degrading to both men and women.

Guh. I do like Wonder Woman, but I hate her look. I'm tired of the onesy costume she's had for like, five-ever. She needs a redesign, throw some pants on her, cover her up a bit. A lot of heroines have that issue, artists pen them with less and less clothing, or they stick with previous costumes and don't ever experiment. I want a Wonder Woman movie/ tv show, but I want one that breaks the old meta. They're changing and tweaking a lot of heroes now, both in Marvel & DC. She needs to be tweaked imo. Both in origin and in appearance.

She doesn't need to be covered any more than she is in this video. They already changed from her gymnast looking clothing to a true to history greek/roman armor suit. Her suit looks exactly like what the greeks and romans wore in this video. Covering her up even more would be completely getting rid of any remnants of her amazonian heritage. The only reason I can see changing her costume more than they already did in this video would be because she is a woman and for some reason women act like the female body is "icky" and needs to be covered up to the extent where all feminine features disappear. Who cares about batman and supermans huge bulges in their skin tight uniforms right? As long as the ladies are completely covered. Plus she was updated in the comics just like everyone else. Invisible plane is gone she can fly without it. And instead of being made from clay she is now a demi god. Her father being zeus while her mother still being hippolyta.

***** Even true to history greek/roman armor covers the chest up to a small area just below the throat, so no cleavage would be showing on WW's armor if it was really accurate. Also, a lot of chestplates came with attachable shoulder pads, for more protection. If you want to be even more accurate, through a skirt back on her. I personally feel pants look better than her swimsuit onesy she's rockin. In regards to her being covered up, there isn't anything wrong with covering her up. Both males and females in comics are either over sexualized or over muscularized. Males usually have bulging muscles, wide jawlines, etc. to make them seem more masculine. Women usually have no less than a C cup, thick thighs, wide hips, and the whole hourglass physique. I think both men and women in comics need to be brought down a bit in these aspects. I also acknowledge that they've tweaked her story over the years, but it's still silly. I like how Marvel did away with the whole 'god's aspect and made Thor from another realm in space. I wish they'd do something similar in DC. It's better that she's a demi-god, but she's still limited to greek/roman mythology in a universe that Has other planets and galaxies with alien life. They could take multiple approaches to her story, ones that are much better than Earth Based mythology.

You are kidding right? Why do comicbooks need to be toned down? The point is that these people are above and beyond. They are super. You don't read them for a fix of reality, you read them to escape reality. If you really find them to be too sexualized then go read something else. There are tons of different forms of art in the world, they don't all need to be realistic! Also there are still gods and demons in the marvel universe, just because the asgardians are considered advanced aliens doesn't mean all the things Dr. Strange faces off against are just aliens. Magic, Gods, Demons and the paranormal still exist within the marvel universe. They just haven't introduced any of that in the cinematic universe yet. I for one like that the men look that way and that the women look the way they do. As I stated they are super so everything about them comes off as more than human even the ones without powers.

What I find funny is that before this short was released, the president of DC Entertainment, Diane Nelson, said, to the effect, that Wonder Woman was "tricky" to pull off for the either TV or film. That wasn't just her opinion; it was a collective consensus over at Warner Bros. Nelson was quoted in the summer of 2013. And then this short, a passion project, comes out in the fall of that year, with practically the same cinematic texture of a typical Zack Snyder film, and creates a nice little viral buzz on the internet. Just google 'Wonder Woman 2013 short' for proof; there were a good bit of links to this film by various genre sites. Lo and behold, a month or so later, the character is announced to be in Batman v Superman. My conspiracy theory, of course, but all and all, I want to give credit to Rainfall Films for inspiring Warners to get WW on the big screen. Thanks, and well-done.
