It was impossible to recapture/recreate the full measure of this super power intro. That said...the villains lacked gravitas in WW84. They weren't really villains per se but lost individuals who were mired in their pains and sense of failure and loss/grief and were driven to choose wrongly with grave consequences. Having Diana pull of a daring rescue would have been cool and they could have tried something, really anything that demonstrated the lengths she would go to, to save innocent human beings. Those little quick takes they did in the 1st quarter of the movie were cute but not epic. Oh well...here's hoping Patti Jenkins hears people and gets "IT" when doing WW3!

What I love about this scene is right after blocking the second bullet in No Man's Land, there's just the slightest hint of a smirk on her face. It's as if she's thinking, "this is even easier than I thought." Then she stops walking and starts running. It's not a smirk of arrogance, but rather relief. Ever since she left Themyscira, Steve had constantly been telling her things are too dangerous to face head on and nobody could do it because he didn't know what she was capable of. I think his genuine concern for her safety and her inexperience with the wider world actually planted the tiniest seed of self-doubt in her mind, and that smirk was her crushing that seed and leaving it behind.

bruh the emotions when Diana renounces her wish then when she is in the sky was up to this level almost. i'm not saying its a 10/10 like this scene but it was definitely an 8.5/10 scene and was extremely close to a 10

Totally Badass. Kind of reminds me of the time my daughter and I were working at a job site. While I was working I heard a noise behind me. When I turned around I saw my daughter had managed to get a heavy piece of equipment out of my work van, up a half flight of steps leading into a house, and to where I was working, all without help. And yes, the equipment was in full working order, too.

It's great that the DCEU films cast men and women as heroes for the most part and not boys and girls like CW does. Adolescent looks. Adolescent voices. it can be hard to take them seriously. Even though chronologically those actors are in their 20s and 30s
@keelychow45694 жыл бұрын
Some of the DC heroes of The CW like Batwoman will never be on Buffy’s level the same way The CW will never be on The WB’s level and UPN’s level.
