Okay Lynda Carter has been in a ton of movies and tv shows so saying she's not an actress is idiotic! She did an incredible job as WW. Also, being filmed in the 70's there were a lot of ristrictions on what women could say and do on TV so for what she had to work with, she did an amazing job.

Heels or no heels on boots. Watch vids. closely, you'll see she interchanges them and some the "wardwrobe dept. " did NOT pay attention. She's also a great actress and a singer "to boot".

YOU LOVE HER!! That is part of the problem, you are not noticing that Lynda basicly just "read" her lines. The reason she pretty much went off the radar after the WW show was because she is an "average" actress(and that is being kind). Yes she has been on other shows and has done cameos BUT she has not grown as an actress, NOT EVEN NOW. I "love" her too but I DO notice that she is no Debra Winger or Susan Lucci for that matter.

Wonder woman and the baroness rolling down the hill

That scene would had been funny if, as The Baroness and Wonder Woman are rolling down the hill, Wonder Woman accidentally changes into Diana Prince. Not only would Wonder Woman be powerless in her persona of Diana Prince but The Baroness and Steve Trevor would know Wonder Woman's secret identity. Imagine the dialogue. Baroness: "Trevor's secretary and Wonder Woman are one and the same person! I never suspected!" Diana Prince: "I'm afraid you're mistaken. I'm not-" Baroness: "Don't try to deny it! I saw the transformation! And in your Diana Prince persona, you're obviously powerless!" Steve Trevor: "Yeuhman Prince! When did YOU did here?! And where's Wonder Woman!?" Baroness: "You idiot! Your secretary IS Wonder Woman! And she is now helpless!" Steve Trevor: "Is what she's saying true?" Diana Prince: "Yes, Major, I AM Wonder Woman. In in my persona of Yeuhman Diana Prince, I'm just as helpless as you are." Steve Trevor: "Incredible! That explains why you and Wonder Woman are never around at the same time!"

"Seeing" how Lynda Carter is NO actress I find that comment to be overrated. Lets face it all that the "studio" has to do is someone who can "fill" that Patriotic Swimsuit and CAN acttually ACT and people at large will say "LYNDA CARTER WHO?!!" Wait and see.

Aran Erem, Wonder woman doesn't have trouble fighting the baroness at all. She decided to match her non-super strength, out of fairness and competition.

In the sequence from 0:11 to 0:22, since it is known that Wonder Woman can deflect bullets with her bracelets, why don't these villians use bullets that contain sleeping gas? When Wonder Woman deflects these bullets, the gas would knock her out;while she is unconcious, the villians could remove her magic belt to render her powerless, put her into the back of their car and take her to their hideout.

To say that she just basically read her lines proves your words are meaningless! Get a grip! As far as your comparisons: I'm sure Lynda could have played a woman dying from a debilitating disease over and over again and looked a helluva lot better doin it than Debra Winger. And she certainly could have played an overdramatized, over-acted soap diva! How many years did it take Lucci to win that Emmy anyway?

Oh, Dave, Dave, your "LUST" for Lynda is showing. She Is a "decent" actress she just isn't a great one. Every time she has appeared on the "Big Screen" "critics" have had little to say of her performances. So it is not just me. Did I watched the show? Yes I did. Did I love the show? Ditto, but looking back at it now I "see" a great many of it's flaws and that of Lynda's acting. BUT does that keep me from stiil "enjoying" the show or Lynda's part in it? NO. She will always be Wonder Woman.
